Financier. Born Montreal, P.Q., son of  Richard Bladworth Angus, a founder of the Canadian Pacific Railway, and president of the Bank of Montreal, and Mary Daniels.

In February, 1894, he married Mary Ethel Henshaw, eldest daughter of the late W.F. Henshaw.

Chairman of  the Standard Life Assurnce Co., president of Guardian Life Assurance Co., and director of Bank of Montreal, Canadian Bag Company, B.C. Sugar Co., and the Royal Trust Company.  Executive member of the Fraser Institute, Montreal.
