Lawyer, born Montreal P.Q., June 1, 1895, son of William Douw Lighthall and Cybel Wilkes. He was educated at Westmount Academy and McGill University, B.C.L. 1921.
In 1923 he married Gladys Rutherford, daughter of Thomas J. Rutherford and they have one son, Peter Rutherford Lighthall.
He is a member of Lighthall, Lighthall & Nichols, Montreal; president of Brown Garage Ltd., Meyers Mill Corporation,; director of Berkeley Hotels Ltd., Stanley Gold Mines Ltd.; advocate, 1923; member of Lighthall & Lighthall 1923-1931; formed present association. He was formerly Mayor and now recorder of the Town of Hampstead, P.Q.
He served in the World War, 1914-1918 with R.C.D., France; with 2nd Dorsets, Mesopotamia; Duke of Cornwall Light Infantry, Salonica; R.C.F. and R.A.F. Egypt and Palestine; discharged with the rank of Captain, Awarded D.C.F.
