Funeral Held for A. G. Snowdon, 83, NDG Manufacturer

Friends and relatives gathered Saturday to pay final respect to Archibald Grant Snowdon who died Thursday in the Western Division of the Montreal General Hospital at the age of 83. Mr. Snowdon resided at 3449 Addington avenue.

The funeral service was held in the D. A. Collins Funeral Home, 5610 Sherbrooke street west. Interment was in Mount Royal Cemetery.

President of A. G. Snowdon Ltd., food product manufacturers, he was a member of a family of nine brothers and sisters after whose father Snowdon Junction was named.

He was a member of the Heather Curling Club, Westmount Bowling Green and the Granite Club in Toronto. He also held membership in the Royal Victoria Lodge No. 57 A.F. and A.M. and for 52 years was a member of St. Andrew's Church.

He is survived by his wife, the former Margaret E. McGregor; two sons, A. Grant and Roy M.; and three daughters, Mrs. R. J. Ambler, Mrs. A. Ritchie and Mrs. David Riddell, all of Montreal.
